Things We Want To See From

The Cleveland Cavaliers

1) Sign Em Sign Em Sign Em

Great start to ff-season with signing Timofey Mozgev! Now hopefully Cleveland Cavaliers David Griffin can keep us from passing out while we hold our breath waiting for Lebron, Love, Shump, and Tristan deals to get done!

2) Draft A Contributor – NBA Draft

None of the following players are the greatest shooters but are the elite wing defenders in this draft. That trait combined with knowing how to get to the basket could actually help the Cavs if pressed into action.

“With The 24th Selection In The NBA Draft The Cleveland Cavaliers Select”

Terry Rozier- Louisville

He’s a 6’2 combo guard from Cleveland no outside jumpshot but a mid-range slashing attack that helped him score effectively in the NCAA. A tenacious defender who is used to pressing 94 feet for 24 minutes.

Justin Anderson – Virginia

Coming off a broken hand this 6’6 small forward was the only true scoring option for his team that was built on defense.

Stanley Johnson – Arizona

The 6-6 shooting guard for the Wildcats who had a rough go on the biggest stage but is a great defender and slashing offensive scoring threat.

3) Health Is Wealth

Cavs have a full off-season to monitor the rehab of all their injured players. Which as you know is most of the entire roster, hopefully the medical staff has a plan to restore these players and are watching to make sure no one goes cliff diving!

4) To JR Or Not To JR

Truly love  JR Smith quirks and all but realistically you have to think about whether or not to move forward with him. He gave the Cavs the  least when we needed the most in the NBA Finals and is expected to opt out which means more money.

Possible Replacements

Aaron Affalo – Portland Trailblazers

Danny Green – San Antonio Spurs

OJ Mayo – Milwaukee Bucks

5) Bargain Hunting

Not a lot left after the above signings but by either using the Haywood Contract or signing free agents here’s five names wouldnt mind see wearing wine and gold next year

Adding a shooting guard or true point guard who can score and effectively run an offense could be the difference when the Cavs are making another run to the NBA finals. The following options via free agency or trade. David Griffin please pull some more magic out of the bag!!!

Shooting Guard -Small Forward
